Our Homeschool, Week 29: "Robots"

We just completed our Robots unit...there were way more activities that we wanted to do but we're adjusting supplements around here, and that makes for a cranky Bu. I tend to go a little easier on him with schooling when he's having a rough week because we still keep our regular 16 hours of therapy a week.

We introduced the concept of clocks this week. Bu needs help putting them in order when he has to go in a circle, but he has no problem putting the numbers in order in a straight line. We read a couple books about robots, watched a video about the scientific method, and played with our letter recognition and robot apps.

The painting with gears is something I hoped to do, but we didn't get around to it. We're going to do a painting activity this week to make up for it. We also did more letter recognition activities with magnets, worked on puzzles, lacing beads, and stacking robots. So much fun and coordination/fine motor practice!
