Doing a lot of last minute prep for Disney this week...I don't know how it always happens this way! The trip has been planned and paid for months, and yet we leave in 48 hours and I still have a bunch of stuff I have to buy and pack.
It hasn't really HIT me that Bu will be 4 YEARS OLD this weekend.
I shall have a 4 year old.
I guess it's the same as me turning 30 this year...I've thought about it so much and so often that at this point, there's no big "WHAAAAA...????" moment.
I'm also thinking a lot about how we have Bu's ambulatory EEG just 2 days after we return, and we're jumping straight back into homeschool so our schedule will change again...there's just a lot happening. I hope I'm able to disconnect from all that long enough to enjoy my baby's birthday and Disney as a whole.
It's our first trip as just the family of 3, so I'm looking forward to that! I love going on trips with the whole family, but it'll be fun to try out this dynamic finally.
Ok, better get back to packing and list-making. And packing lists.
